Have you been to our shop? Just a stone's throw away from Portobello Road is a lovely little street called All Saints Road, and that's where you'll find us! If you are a sunglass fanatic, then it really is an eyewear haven; packed full or all our collections from Oliver Goldsmith ICONS and DECADESto Claire Goldsmith spectacles as well as a selection of sunglasses for children (they are mini versions of some of our most iconic styles and are awesome!).
The pièce de résistance though? Our incredible vintage archive.
Retreat downstairs and you 'll be greeted to a visual delight - our little museum is an homage to the heritage of Oliver Goldsmith. There are rows upon rows of original vintage Goldsmith designs, antique display material and a copy of the guest book from the Poland Street workshop. The walls are papered with copies of press coverage featuring Oliver Goldsmith, mainly from the 1960's and 70's‚ resulting in immediate transportation to this era. The imagery is so iconic and familiar you immediately identify with the brand and its history even if you are new to knowing us.
Having a flagship store is such a privilege and we love showing people around. There is something so thrilling about seeing complete collections, to offer such choice and to give clients the space to experiment with shapes and styles. So, whether you are a sunglass aficionado or looking to purchase your very first pair of specs, take a trip to Notting Hill and come and visit our special little store.
The street is also home to some other incredible independent brands and shops. Opposite us is the Milliner Jess Collett who 's hats have been worn by everyone from royalty to celebrities. Her passion for millinery is infectious and her hats are simply divine. New to the street is the jewellery brand Zoe & Morgan ‚ beautiful designs that are both classic and contemporary, you 'll be entranced by the choice. Next door is a Portobello institution‚ the famous music shop Portobello Music and of course you need to eat‚ so for something light, get your chops around some of the most delicious food and coffee ever at The Tin Shed, and for dinner then the street is lucky to be home to 7 Saints, a restaurant run by James Gummer, the former maître d' at The Wolseley.
